Advanced Tuck Pointing
This course builds on the Introduction to Tuck Pointing Course. It will look at the techniques, tools and materials required to produce tuck pointing to the highest of standards and though up to date is based upon historical facts and contemporary documents of the 18, 19th and early 20th centuries. Detailed course notes written by the tutor underpin the lectures and practical sessions.
Learning outcomes:

To increase knowledge of the many varied aspects of tuck pointing at an advanced level
To develop the knowledge base and pointing skills of the student to much higher level and increase further his craft status
To further develop awareness and help the students understanding and promote the conservation aspects of this class of work.
Note : The Introduction to Tuck Pointing course is a pre-requisite to the Advanced Tuck Pointing course.
